New year, new resolve

Marco and I wrote our goals for 2011 yesterday. There are
five areas that we focus on: spiritual, relational, financial,
career/academic, and personal. I think we came up with some really
great foundational and practical goals for this year. But I think
they are too… Something. Too practical. Too easy. Too safe. When
looking over our goals from 2010, I laughed at how small they were.
At the time, they seemed huge. “save $2,500 for a house by
12/31/10” and now we live in a house we never dreamed we could own
in our first year of marriage. It’s as if God said, “you dreamed so
small, and look how I can bless you.” I feel like our goals for
this year should be God-sized. Maybe we will do some
editing.
